Your email, avatar, display name, password, and connected sign-in methods.
Account Settings
Account Settings is the account-level control center in Castaly. Use it to manage your profile and sign-in, choose your appearance preference, review your plan and credits, read notifications, contact support, and open policy documents.
It opens as a dialog over the app. Your current Home, Projects, or Project Workspace stays in place behind it, so you can close Account Settings and return to exactly where you were.
How to open it
Section titled “How to open it”Every entry opens the same dialog. The only difference is which tab is selected first.
- Avatar / name menu (bottom-left) opens Profile.
- Credits card in the sidebar opens Plans & Credits.
- Upgrade from Home or a Project Workspace opens Plans & Credits.
- Upgrade from a credit-related prompt also opens Plans & Credits.
- Notifications bell (bottom-left, above your avatar) opens Notifications.
What you can manage
Section titled “What you can manage”Account Settings is organized by task. Use the left sidebar in the dialog to move between tabs.
Your local theme preference: Light, Dark, or System.
Your current plan, remaining credits, usage summary, credit packs, and billing actions.
The credit ledger behind your balance, with filters, paging, and row details.
Account alerts, project activity, credit reminders, and other important notices.
Support contact details, including a copyable support email.

Profile and sign-in
Section titled “Profile and sign-in”The Profile tab manages your account identity and sign-in methods.
- Email is read-only.
- Avatar and Name can be updated from this tab.
- Password can be set or changed.
- Google and GitHub show whether those sign-in methods are connected.
Appearance
Section titled “Appearance”The Appearance tab controls your theme: Light, Dark, or System.
Theme is a local preference for the device you are using. It changes the app immediately and does not change your projects, Specs, builds, or published output.
Billing, credits, and notifications
Section titled “Billing, credits, and notifications”Account Settings also gives you access to the account and billing surfaces that may affect what Castaly can run.
- Plans & Credits shows your active plan, remaining credits, usage summary, credit packs, available plans, and billing history.
- Credit Activity shows every credit addition, usage event, and adjustment in order, with filters and pagination for longer ledgers.
- Notifications shows personal activity, account alerts, and project-related notices, with unread items first.
These tabs are summaries and controls for your account. Project work, build progress, and preview state remain inside the Project Workspace.
What lives outside Account Settings
Section titled “What lives outside Account Settings”Project-level settings are managed from the Project Workspace, not Account Settings.
- Runtime Secrets are configured per project when your app needs API keys or other runtime values.
- Project URLs are managed per project for Preview and published website addresses.
- Project States are shown in the Project Workspace because they describe the current project, not your account.
- Specs, Graph, Preview, Build, and Publish controls stay inside the project they belong to.
