Check when monthly credits, purchased credit packs, signup bonuses, or manual credits landed.
Credit Activity
Credit Activity is the ledger behind your credit balance. It shows when credits were added, when credits were used, what caused the change, and what your balance was after each event.
Where Plans & Credits shows your current plan and total balance, Credit Activity shows the individual changes behind that balance.
Open it from the Credit Activity tab in Account Settings.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”Use Credit Activity when you need to understand why your balance changed, or when you want to trace a specific credit grant, purchase, usage event, or adjustment.
See which AI work, Build work, or platform usage consumed credits.
Compare each change with the balance after that event.
Use Plans & Credits for totals, and Credit Activity for the line-by-line record.
What appears here
Section titled “What appears here”Credit Activity includes credits that were added, credits that were used, and corrections made to the ledger.
| What you may see | Filter | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly credits granted | Added | Credits included with your plan were granted for the billing cycle. |
| Purchased credits added | Added | A credit pack purchase was completed and added to your purchased credit balance. |
| Signup bonus or manual credit | Added | Castaly added credits manually, such as a launch bonus, support credit, or other account-level grant. |
| Runtime usage | Used | Platform usage consumed credits, such as supported over-quota runtime, storage, DB compute, or published request usage. |
| Credit refund | Adjustments | Credits were returned to your balance. |
| Credit adjustment | Adjustments | Castaly corrected the ledger manually. |
| Credit writeoff | Adjustments | A ledger correction removed credits for accounting or support reasons. |
How rows are grouped
Section titled “How rows are grouped”Some usage appears as a grouped row instead of a row for every underlying event.
AI usage and runtime usage can be grouped into short time windows. A grouped row may represent several AI calls, Build steps, or runtime events that happened close together. When this happens, the row shows a time window and the combined credit change for that group.
Rows such as monthly credits, credit pack purchases, refunds, and manual adjustments usually appear as individual entries.
How to read a row
Section titled “How to read a row”Each row explains one credit change in a five-column table.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Date | When the event happened. Grouped usage may show a time window instead of a single timestamp. |
| Activity | What happened, with a short description when Castaly has more context. |
| Source | The source label for the event, such as the related plan, purchase, model, project, or platform usage source. |
| Credits | How many credits moved. Positive values add credits; negative values spend or remove credits. |
| Balance | Your credit balance immediately after that row. |
Some usage rows may also show an original credit amount and an X% off badge when a credit discount was applied. In that case, the struck-through value is the original usage amount, and the final value is what was actually deducted.
Filtering the list
Section titled “Filtering the list”Use the segmented filters at the top to narrow the list.
Every entry, newest first.
Credits granted by your plan or added when you bought a credit pack.
Credits spent on AI work, Build work, runtime, or supported over-quota platform usage.
Manual corrections to your balance.
Paging through activity
Section titled “Paging through activity”Credit Activity shows the loaded ledger entries in pages. Use Previous and Next to move through the current filtered list.
The footer shows how much of the filtered list you are viewing, such as Showing 1-8 of 23. Changing the filter returns you to the first page for that filter.
Pagination only changes which rows are visible. It does not modify your balance or reload your billing history.
What this does not change
Section titled “What this does not change”Credit Activity is read-only. Filtering the list only changes what you see in the dialog. It does not buy credits, change your plan, modify your balance, or affect any running AI task.
Credit Activity is also not a payment receipt or invoice list. For checkout, plan changes, credit packs, billing history, and the billing portal, use Plans & Credits.
For plan rules, monthly credits, extra credits, and over-quota behavior, see Plans & Usage.
